I moved to Bewdley on Christmas Eve 1976. Been there ever since apart from a 2 year hiatus.
Here are a few pictures taken on a Spring day in 2002.

Bewdley Bridge. It was built in 1797 by Thomas Telford to replace the earlier medieval bridge that had been swept away in a flood.

Looking downstream from the bridge.

The "Christian" side. This is Beales Corner. The eastern side of the town is called Wribbenhall. It's often referred as the "Christian" side, with Bewdley being the "Heathen" side. This is because Bewdley used to be a sanctuary town and if you got across the river into town before sun down you were safe.

Looking eastwards across town from Welchgate.

St. Annes Church - Yes, it is stuck in the middle of a road.
